Seeing Green

The girls at " A Pair With a Flair" are known to put a little green into everything. So, with St. Patrick's Day upon us, we thought it would be fun to share with you some of our favorite design images, fabrics, and accessories that have a splash of Green!

We love this green room from the book Southern Accents on Color. Notice how they have painted the molding and the walls in the same shade of green with gilded accents on the trim, furniture and accessories. Total elegance !

This room by interior designer Katie Ridder is beautifully done and shows how various shades of green mixed with a splash of teal can work timelessly together. Also note the intricately embroidered pelmet or cornice board.

Who says you need a neutral piece of upholstery when you can have one of these wonderful textured green  fabrics on your favorite chair. (Fabrics from Manuel Canovas, Zimmer+Rhode, Groundworks)

Nothing says outdoors like the color green. How fabulous would your outdoor furniture look in one of these fun outdoor prints! (Fabrics from Schumacher and Chris Barrett)

When you need that extra layer in a room, we could see using one of these fun small prints for throw pillows!
(Fabrics from Jim Thompson, Galbraith and Paul and Victoria Hagan)

Oh how we love the linens at Gramercy!  The scalloped green embroidery adds that extra flair and is so sophisticated!

Easter Lunch plans are being made and what better dinner plate to use than the Herend Rothchild Bird in Green. Their hand painted china never fails to bring elegance and beauty to a table setting.

One of our favorite artists, Nancy B. Westfall, represented at Gregg Irby Fine Art, is known for her bright colorful canvases that are full of personality!  We could see this eye catching watermelon painting in a summer beach house.
